What is SOC 2 Compliance?

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is an industry-recognized standard developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) to evaluate how well a company safeguards customer data and ensures system availability, confidentiality, and privacy.

There are two types:

  • SOC 2 Type 1: Evaluates the design of controls at a specific point in time
  • SOC 2 Type 2: Assesses the operational effectiveness of those controls over a period of time

Atarim is currently SOC 2 Type 1 compliant, meaning our controls have been independently reviewed and validated for proper design and implementation.

What This Means for You

  • Trust: We’ve undergone an external audit to validate our commitment to security and data integrity
  • Transparency: We provide our attestation report upon request to all paying customers
  • Readiness for Teams: Our platform is suitable for agencies, enterprise departments, and organizations that require compliance with internal or client-side vendor risk assessments

FAQs
