FAQs

Can I use an authenticator app instead of email for 2FA?

Currently, Atarim only supports email-based 2FA.

Will I need to enter a 2FA code every time I log in?

Only when logging in from a new browser or device.

Can I disable 2FA without logging in?

Yes. As a security measure, Atarim will log you out after disabling 2FA. You will need to log back in with your password.

Is my account less secure after turning off 2FA?

Yes. Without 2FA, your account relies only on your password. We recommend using a strong and unique password for security.

Tips & Tricks

  • Use a Secure Email: Ensure that your registered email has a strong password and, if possible, its own 2FA enabled.
  • Keep Backup Codes: Some platforms provide backup codes when enabling 2FA. If Atarim offers this, store them in a safe place.
  • Avoid Public Devices: Never enable 2FA or access Atarim from an untrusted device.

Summary

By enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you significantly improve your account security, ensuring that even if your password is compromised, unauthorized access is prevented.
